In this artwork, the hard jadeite is delicately carved into a flexible hemp rope, intertwined with two strands, and the texture of the intertwined rope is rough and simple, full of strength. The five emerald green butterflies perched on top of the rope represent the "Kingdom of Butterflies" of Taiwan as well as the cultural connotation of "happiness".
From the top to the bottom, the silhouette of the piece is similar to the island of Taiwan, with the warmth of its customs, the richness of its inhabitants, and the abundance of its humanities and nature, which makes it a blessed land and a place to be cherished.
In this work, the jadeite rope knot is used to express the creator's ultimate care for people and the land, and the simple lines are endlessly extended in the space, which implies a touching deep meaning.
